Kind Conversations Framework

Three gentle steps for smoother, more respectful conversations.

1. Listen First

Give the other person space to finish. Nod, make eye contact, and avoid planning your reply while they talk.

2. Reflect Briefly

Say back a short summary: “So you’re saying you felt left out of the meeting?” This builds clarity and trust.

3. Share Simply

State your thought without overloading: “I see that. Here’s how I experienced it…” Simple sentences prevent confusion.
